Mijn ambitie is dan ook om te blijven groeien, zowel persoonlijk als zakelijk. Ik krijg er energie van om samen met mijn team het maximale uit hen, en onze projecten te halen. Met mijn ervaring op Tactisch, Strategisch en Operationeel niveau kan ik mij inleven op alle lagen binnen onze arbeidsprocessen.

I’m an ordinary guy with ordinary life and with 1 exception family, beautiful wife and 2 boys. I just about love all sports, so I guess you could say I’m a bit competitive too.
What is your passion for what you do professionally?I’ve always seemed to find enjoyment in working with numbers. From school I loved mathematics and somehow thought id like accounting and therefore I proceeded with it by studying financial management. Later, I realized it was way less interesting than I thought. Looking at me back then I don’t think I ever thought id see myself working in construction. Well, look now I found my passion.

Almost 10 years ago I started in the city of Tilburg my studies Construction Management. From a young age I have been working in my fathers painting company, where I discovered my passion for construction. After my studies I decided to focus more on my creative side and started working as a designer. Currently I am working as a designer and for 2-Excel as a planner. This combination of creativity and practical sides is great to further develop my skills and knowledge in the field of construction and being an entrepreneur.

My passion for what I do is to create new things out of nothing. Just an idea and then working towards a practical and finished product. The greatest feeling is when I designed and created something myself, and it resulted in a great end product that is of value for others.

Who Am I?
After 11 years working at ABN AMRO as a Financial planner and Preferred Banker, I wanted to experience more of the world. So I immigrated to South Africa almost 10yrs ago and have a beautiful daughter of almost 8yrs now. Besides the support role at 2Excel I work as an Immigration Specialist. I think South Africa is the most beautiful country in the world and Cape Town can compete easily with the best cities in the world. However sometimes I do miss my family, we literally live at the end of the world. Well, if you don’t count Antarctica.

Hi, Ik ben Ivo Smulders en woon in Den Bosch (in Nederland). Ik ben vrij makkelijk in omgang en meestal erg relaxt. Sporten heeft mijn passie. Buiten zijn, voetballen, Padel en eigenlijk alles wat sport gerelateerd is laat mijn hart letterlijk en figuurlijk sneller kloppen. Van jongs af aan was ik al geïnteresseerd in de bouw. En meer dan 12 jaar geleden heb ik de opleiding bouwtechnische bedrijfskunde gekozen om deze jongensdroom voort te zetten. Tot op heden vind ik deze sector nog steeds erg interessant en zal daar voorlopig in blijven werken.

I love what I do, it is my passion to work with numbers (because numbers don’t lie) and to figure something out, to find the best possible solution. I have been working in the construction industry for ±17 years now and I have been very privileged to experience/work in so many different areas e.g. civils, structural, new build, property development, maintenance, etc. I am also very privileged to join the 2Excel team, looking forward to working with the A-team.

From a young age I’ve always love working with numbers and I also have a type of OCD in terms of being very accurate in either building , setting out or measuring , which is why I do a lot of carpentry in my spare time. Ik ben Jorn, inspectie-specialist bij 2Excel. In 2017 ben ik afgestudeerd en ik heb meerdere beroepstakken geprobeerd sindsdien. Ondertussen ben ik al weer 4 jaar werkzaam in het vastgoedonderhoud. Bij 2Excel houd ik me vooral bezig met de bouwkundige inspecties binnen Nederland. Een gezellige Brabantse collega die graag samenwerkt met de Nederlandse en Afrikaanse collega’s. Verder ben ik een persoon die (te) veel hobby’s heeft en zich nooit zal vervelen.

Dat de balans tussen werk en privé goed is! Hard werken maar ook hard genieten.
Wie bewonder je?
Manuel Wouters, een Vlaamse mixoloog. Een van die vele hobby’s die ik heb is cocktails maken. En van Manuel heb ik het meeste geleerd over de wereld van cocktails. Met zijn visie in mijn achterhoofd maak ik alleen maar geslaagde cocktails in mijn vrije tijd.

Samen met mijn vrouw en 2 dochters woon ik in Hattem, vlak onder Zwolle. Toen ik van school kwam heb ik vrij snel het schildersbedrijf van mijn vader overgenomen. Met veel plezier en een geweldig team heb ik hier 25 jaar aan gewerkt. Totdat ik het tijd vond voor wat nieuws; in 2023 heb ik daarom het bedrijf verkocht. Samen met mijn man en onze huisdieren woon ik in Waalwijk. Naast mijn werk bij 2Excel werk ik ook op de vastgoedafdeling van een zorginstelling in de omgeving. In mijn vrije tijd duik ik graag in een boek of ben ik een spelletje aan het spelen, zowel bordspellen als op een console/pc. Ook ben ik een hobbyfotograaf waarbij ik alles op de foto zet, behalve mensen. Bij 2Excel help ik mijn collega’s met cursussen om ze beter wegwijs te maken in de Nederlandse planvorming en doe ik daarnaast ook zelf de planvorming.
