Begin 2021 startte zo de samenwerking met 2Excel. Een bijzondere samenwerking omdat de veel collega’s van 2Excel vanuit Kaapstad werken. Bijna alle werkzaamheden worden vanuit Zuid Afrika uitgevoerd. 2Excel levert capaciteit, kennis en toegevoegde waarde. Met grote betrokkenheid van hun vier toebedeelde medewerkers, is de capaciteit van het bedrijfsbureau van Caspar de Haan serieus toegenomen en flexibeler geworden. Hierdoor is er ruimte om de eigen capaciteit optimaal in te zetten.
Sinds de fusie met Caspar de Haan, maakt ook De Variabele gebruik van 2Excel. De afgelopen maanden heeft 2Excel meer dan tachtig RGS-complexen compleet in beeld gebracht. Hiermee kan De Variabele haar RGS-scenario’s tijdig oppakken en aanleveren bij klanten. We creëren hiermee mentale ruimte voor meer aandacht en verhogen daarmee de kwaliteit van de scenario’s. Ik ben erg enthousiast over de samenwerking, we opereren in dezelfde Teams-omgeving echt als één team. We communiceren in het Nederlands en soms Engels. E-mails sturen we gewoon in het Nederlands, Google vertaalt ze automatisch.
Data eerder op orde
Voor een van onze opdrachtgevers ontwikkelden we een manier om technische bestanden eenvoudig digitaal te importeren. Hierdoor hebben we geen mensen nodig om handmatig “over te typen” en worden foutmarges beperkt. Zo weten we zeker dat we overal met dezelfde en eenduidige projectgegevens werken.”

“Thanks to the knowledge that Roel has gained in the Netherlands within the field of planning and maintenance, working on both the outside and inside of buildings, we have entered into a partnership with 2Excel to draw up various RGS plans. 2Excel has been working “remotely” for our company for the past few months. In the initial phase, we worked together in the Netherlands to collect all the necessary data.
This includes recording reports, measurements, wood rot inspections, etc. During this period we also spent a lot of time getting acquainted with our organization and gaining insight into the wishes of the client(s). With this information, 2Excel set to work from South Africa. In order to work together in this process, we have had regular contact by telephone, e-mail or have had a Skype conversation. We exchange documents via a SharePoint environment. Because you can reach each other in many different ways, the distance has not proved to be a limitation in carrying out projects.

Due to the changing market, an 'explosion' of Result-Oriented Collaboration (RGS), Hagemans has developed the need to carefully plan our indirect resources. We are moving much earlier than before and much more is expected of us. Everyone is busy, but how busy and until when? Internally there was too little capacity to deal with this and no system was available to answer these questions.
2Excel has co-developed and built this resource planning. I was a bit skeptical about the remote collaboration beforehand. However, it went much better than expected. Because there is no time difference, coordination with the available means of communication (Whatsapp and Teams) went well. Excellent agreements were made about what we could expect from each other during the implementation phase, so we had speed in the process. Roel's knowledge and expertise has helped us to quickly develop a custom solution. We look back very positively on the collaboration, and we already have a next project ready.

Due to the communication via Teams, the lines are short. There is no time difference, we had contact in between via WhatsApp, Teams and E-mail. The cooperation is very pleasant, and we can always have the program that 2Excel built for us adjusted and expanded. We are very satisfied and hope that if we have finished this project and we need something new, we can also use 2Excel's services again.
